Cultus Black looks like characters straight out of a cult horror movie, and sound like something forged from the bowels of hell.
Cultus Black has already had to deal with many obstacle from inappropriate lyrics, being a masked band, and their image as a non religious cult. "L" sports ritualistic body paint, the other unknown members wear plain white masks and black clothing. Cultus Black definitely has a strange appearance, but not one that mocks or copies any current band in the industry.
The most important thing about Cultus Black is the music. Their music is a sonic euphoric assault on your senses...depending on the listener, of course. Their lyrics are unapologetic and in your face; the music is non stop melodies of madness.
Their fist single "You Make Me Sick", or called the anti-single by singer "L", starts with the lyrical war cry of "F#ck You!" and goes into musical chaos. The second single labeled "Witch Hunt" thunders with heavy drums, growling guitar, and gut-wrenching vocals. With their third single/cover of Nirvana's Negative Creep, Cultus Black put their on original spin on the classic aggressive anthem.
