After the members of a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) are forced out of their university funding set up shop as "Ghostbusters" to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural. A long the way they hire hard working skeptic (Ernie Hudson). They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension and must save New York from complete destruction.

It had been over 30 years since the original Ghostbusters had been together in a Ghostbusters movie. No, we are counting the 2016 reboot of the same name. With Afterlife, we will finally get to see the remaining original Ghostbusters reunite. Sadly, Harold Ramis (Egon Spangler) passed in 2014 but he's character is heavily honored and mentioned in the Afterlife film.
Harold Ramis was an actor, comedian, director and writer. His best-known for his role as Egon Spengler in Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989). He directed films including Caddy Shack (1980), National Lampoon's Vacation (1983), Groundhog Day (1993), Analyze This (1999) and Analyze That (2002).
