Slipknot founding drummer Joey Jordison passes at 46

Tragedy strikes Slipknot yet again, with a second death in the band. First was Paul Grey in May 24, 2010. Now recent death of former drummer Joey Jordison on July 26, 2021.

Joey Jordison started his career as a co-founder of Slipknot in 1995 until Jordison was force out of the band back in 2013, when he found out his was suffering from Transverse Myelitis,. Which is a deterioration of the spine, and causes your limbs to go numb or to dysfunction. Jordison later claimed he was fired from the band in an interview in 2016. 

"All I got was a stupid fucking email saying I was out of the band that I busted my ass my whole life to fucking create."  

Jordison continue his music career without Slipknot, after receiving treatment. Scar the Martyr, Vimic , and Sinsaenum. Scar the Marty was created in April 2013. Jordison announced in May 2016, that the band had been disbanded. Vimic was created in May 2016. However, activity ground to a halt in 2018 with Jordison's commitments to Sinsaenum. Sinsaenum was created in May 2016. The future of Sinsaenum, is uncertain due to passing of drummer Joey Jordison,

Joey Jordison passed away on July 26, 2021 in his sleep due to transverse myelitis, a neurological disorder. Jordison's family expressed their indescribable sorrow and ask all to respect their privacy at this time due to Joey Jordison's passes.
