You have heard right! Robert Englund will be making his last appearance as the classically - terrifying, "Freddy Krueger," at the Flashback Weekend - Chicago Horror Convention, in Chicago, IL, on August 8th. Englund will be exhibiting the full "Freddy Krueger" look. Make-up will be applied by FX master artist Robert Kurtzman.
Fan's, that are going to the convention, have the option to pay a little extra $$ to have one photo-op with Robert Englund, receive autographs, and obtain admission to Friday Night Frights to see him live on stage! Plus many more fun surprises.
This is seriously A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY!!!!!
Robert Englund was the original "Freddy Krueger" in the A Nightmare on Elm Street films that started in 1984 and was directed by Wes Craven. He did NOT appear in the most recent (shitty) re-make in 2010 that was directed by Samuel Bayer.
Hopefully, all you die-hard Krueger fans can agree with me. Sure, it was nice to see/hear about a comeback for the original movie, but it did no justice what-so-ever. You just simply CANNOT re-make the film with out Robert Englund. Total flop!
